SEC/Steinbach Pistons’ Charity Hot Dog Cook-Off

The Southeast Event Centre and the Steinbach Pistons are proud to launch the inaugural SEC/Steinbach Pistons’ Charity Hot Dog Cook-Off, a fun-filled community event bringing together local businesses, friendly competition, entertainment, and fundraising for ROC Eastman.

Six local businesses will showcase their creativity by crafting unique signature hot dogs in a battle for the coveted title of:

The Official 2026-2027 Pistons Dog.

The competing teams are: The LumberZone, Mix 96.7, Sunshine Greenhouse/Chino’s, Dynamic Chiropractic & Sports Therapy Center, Earl’s Meats, and the Southeast Event Centre. 

The winning creation will be featured throughout the upcoming Steinbach Pistons season at the Southeast Event Centre!

Your $10 Admission Includes:

✅ Hot dog tastings from every competing station
✅ The opportunity to vote for your favourite hot dog in the People’s Choice competition
✅ A fun, family-friendly community experience
✅ Supporting ROC Eastman

Bring your appetite and help crown the champion while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re a devoted foodie, a Pistons fan, or simply looking for a fun way to spend a September afternoon, there’s something for everyone.

This event is the first of what we hope will become a cherished annual SEC and Steinbach Pistons tradition, and we’d love for you to be part of it from the very beginning.
