September has been a BIG one for Stone City Coffee!
Probably the biggest thing this month was getting Stone City Coffee into the Southeast Event Centre. Jay assembled the coffee bar, but definitely not without some help. A huge thank you to Silverpine Cabinets for saying yes every time Jay showed up with another “I need this piece built” request so he could keep getting it done to meet our deadline of Pistons Home opener, fitting and plumbing everything together. He spent days on end working on that bar, while we were also getting their team trained, figuring out equipment, menus, supplies, POS and about a hundred other little things.
And we did it!
Stone City Coffee is officially being served at every Steinbach Pistons game and select events at the Event Centre. Seeing that bar up and running after everything that went into it is pretty exciting.
September has definitely stretched us. At this point, I’m pretty sure if September stretches us any further, we’ll officially be taller.
But we’re also really grateful. Thank you for continuing to choose our coffee and support this little business of ours. We truly don’t take it for granted.
October is going to be a fun one.
