About Us (Real Quick)
We’re the Southeast Event Centre — a brand-new, state-of-the-art, multi-use facility in Steinbach, Manitoba. We host everything from concerts and tournaments to corporate events and cultural festivals, and are home to the Steinbach Pistons. We’re built for the community, powered by purpose, and driven to be the regional hub of entertainment and connection.
The Role: General Manager

- Walking through the facility with operations staff to ensure everything is running efficiently and safely—ready for a sold-out concert or community event.
- Brainstorming with the events and operations team on new ways to attract diverse events—from trade shows and tournaments to local festivals.
- Hosting a sponsorship pitch meeting with a potential corporate partner to explore revenue and brand-building opportunities.
- Engaging with local stakeholders, tourism leaders, and community organizations to strengthen partnerships and identify new opportunities for collaboration.
- Conducting one-on-one check-ins with department directors to support professional growth, resolve challenges, and foster a high-performing team culture.
- Reviewing compliance documentation, health & safety protocols, and emergency preparedness plans to ensure full regulatory adherence and readiness.
